The Canyons on Colter (Arroyo Vista)
One of our recent projects, The Canyons on Colter (Arroyo Vista), is a luxury garden-style apartment community located at 5631 West Colter Street in Glendale, Arizona. The property was built in 1984 and is comprised of 16 buildings on approximately 10.01 acres. The 304-unit complex is ideally situated in the Westside neighborhood, close to plenty of great dining, shopping, and entertainment options. With several unique floor plans, the complex features an attractive mix of inviting one, two, and three bedroom apartments.
The Barone Group acquired the property in 2017 and immediately began an extensive remodel, including interior and exterior renovations.
Property Acquisition & Luxurious Upgrades
After acquiring the property, our multi-family housing team quickly began implementing upgrades throughout the community. All of the units were updated and renovated, including new flooring and new appliances. Some units were also newly equipped with washers and dryers. Most of the units had existing patios or balconies, adding to the upscale feel of the complex.
Because our team has years of experience in all aspects of business relating to acquisitions, we were able to transform the community into a highly desirable resort-style apartment complex. The exterior was extensively rehabbed, and the landscaping, pool area, and clubhouse were upgraded with several new additions and a refreshed, clean look. Other existing amenities include a fitness center, dedicated rental office, on-site dog park, large swimming pool and spa, business center, and playground.
